The California coastline to me is just a magical place for a photographer. One thing I haven't seen a lot though is the magic captured while most of the world sleeps. I set out to challenge myself, to try and capture how it feels to view La Jolla in the early hours of the morning. 
I spent collectively about a month on location standing over two or three different spots along the La Jolla coastline over the span of two years until I finally captured what I decided was 'the shot'. 
I'm titling this one "La Jolla -2am" and I absolutely love it. I hope you do too.
